I have lived in Tintwistle for over 50 years. I’m married to Margaret, and have three sons.
I rejoined the Parish Council in 2024. I served as a Councillor for two terms in the 1980s/90s along with many other parish groups – Children’s Gala, School Governor, Christ Church PCC and Allotments Association. I was also the local representative for Talking Books for the Blind.
I retired in 2004 from a career in telecommunications, then 8 years as a volunteer classroom assistant at my wife’s school.
