I have lived in Crowden for seven years in November, moving into Derbyshire from Tameside. I live at Crowden with my husband David, I chair Crowden and Woodhead Residents Committee and am treasurer and fund raiser for the restoration of St James Church at Crowden and Woodhead. As chair of the residents committee I am committed to make Crowden a good place to live and also for our visitors, a good place to visit. I am a retired Detective Inspector from GMP, having retired 10 years ago after a number of years working as a Safeguarding and Child and Adult Protection Senior Investigator. I love the outdoors and enjoy walking, cycling and kayaking. I have a degree in Geology and Environmental Science and have a great interest in climate change and looking after our environment.
