Notice is hereby given that an election is to be held for the Town/Parish Councillors for the following areas listed below:

  1. Nomination papers must be hand delivered to the Returning Officer, Town Hall, Market Place, Buxton, Derbyshire, SK17 6EL on any day after the date of this notice Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm (excluding bank holidays) but no later than 4pm Tuesday, 4th April 2023.

 

  1. Nomination papers may be obtained from the offices of the Returning Officer, Town Hall, Market Place, Buxton, Derbyshire, SK17 6EL, during the times stated above.

 

  1. If any election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday, 4th May 2023 between the hours of 7am and 10pm.

 

  1. Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 12 midnight on Monday, 17 April 2023. Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote

 

  1. 5. Applications to vote by post and request to amend or cancel an existing postal vote and amendments or cancellations of proxy votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Town Hall, Market Place, Buxton, Derbyshire, SK17 6EL by 5pm Tuesday, 18th April 2023.

 

  1. Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Elector’s Document valid for this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm, Tuesday, 25th April 2023. Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/apply-for-photo-id-voter-authority-certificate

 

  1. New applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Town Hall, Market Place, Buxton, Derbyshire, SK17 6EL by 5pm Tuesday, 25th April 2023.

 

  1. Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Town Hall, Market Place, Buxton, Derbyshire, SK17 6EL by 5pm Thursday, 4th May 2023.
