How to vote in person

A Poll card for each member of the household who is registered to vote will be delivered before the election. The Poll card will tell you the date of the Election, where your Polling Station is and the hours it will be open. You do not need to take your Poll card with you to be able to vote.

  • A list of accepted ID is available on the Electoral Commission’s website. Anyone who does not have one of the accepted forms of ID will be able to apply for free ID online or by completing a paper form.
  • Voters will be able to use expired ID if they are still recognisable from the photo.
