Notice is hereby given that-
The Annual Parish Meeting will be held on Wednesday 15th May 2024 at Tintwistle CofE Primary School, South Close, Tintwistle, SK13 1LY at 6.30pm.
The Annual Parish Meeting is not a parish council meeting, but a meeting for the electors of the parish. Local government electors for the parish are entitled to speak at the meeting.
The business to be transacted at the meeting will be:
- To receive a report from the Chairman of the Parish Council
- To receive any reports from County/Borough Councillors
- To receive any reports from local organisations
- Public forum – an opportunity for residents to raise any matters of Parish interest and suggest ideas for the Council’s 2024-2027 plans.
This meeting is convened in accordance with Schedule 12 of the Local Government Act 1972.
